Social Conditioning

At Beaucaniche all of the puppies are raised in our home. All puppies are identified individually by colour coded collars or non toxic colour marks so that their personalities and developmental milestones can be recognized. Puppies are involved and integrated with humans very early on in their development. They are also exposed to a large variety of daily sounds and noises (i.e. Vacuums, Phones, Car horns, thunder, etc.), which acclimates them to everyday living. Puppies are also separated from their littermates for short periods so that they become independent. In addition, we also take the puppies for car rides to get them used to the motion of the motor vehicle and lessen the possibility of car sickness. The puppies are part of our family, until they become part of yours.
